The Story
"HE WHO IS BORN MUST DIE.
HE WHO IS DEAD MUST BE REBORN."
From "The Bhagwad Gita" (The Hindu Holy Book) In TIME HEALS, the

star-crossed freedom fighters for their homeland's independence from
British rule.
BUT. was he, in his past life, actually a traitor to the cause? Must
she, in her present incarnation, seek revenge for his treachery?
Or, is their love story infinitely more far-reaching than just the two
of them?
Will TIME HEAL all?

Reviews
Fr, Gaston Roberge S.J.
writes: Almost at the same two large-scale movies, one in Hindi (Lagaan),
the other in Bengali (Aabar Aashbo Phire) tell a story against the
background of India’s struggle for freedom. And that too at a time when
India is seeking to define her own identity in the context of the
globalization imposed on her. It is obvious that the film’s makers were
committed to produce a film of the highest quality: they succeeded. Each and
every member of the team deserves congratulations and thanks for giving us a
wonderful film. -

OTHER REVIEWS :
THE TIMES OF INDIA - “Ravi Ojha obliterates the gulf between masses
and classes. The protagonists are fully etched characters rather than
stereotypes. Aabaar Aashbo Phire raises the bar for mainstream Bengali
Cinema.
STATESMAN - “This lavishly mounted love story does entertain. Victor
Banerjee is a compelling presence.”
THE TELEGRAPH - Rating 6.5. “Bengali Cinema is looking richer in more
senses than one…. “
ANANDO BAZAAR PATRIKA - “The golden age of Bengali cinema is back!
Before it’s death it had promised to return.”
HINDUSTAN TIMES - “The best thing about Aabaar Aashbo Phire apart
from the lavish mounting and ambience captured by the magic cinematography
[Rakesh Kumar] is it’s storyline.”
