"The funniest, craziest,
dirtiest, most perversely
beautiful science fiction
movie ever made"

- NEW YORK MAGAZINE

Enter the wild and outrageous world of Liquid Sky. The new wave, New York Cult classic created from the 'alien' perspective and imagination of Russian emigres in America, Liquid Sky is a visually striking film which fuses decadent Manhattan night life with elements of science fiction fantasy.

Unseen aliens, searching for heroin, land in their tiny flying saucer on the roof of a downtown penthouse apartment and attach themselves to Margaret (Ann Carlisle), a new wave fashion model whose friends use lots of drugs. But the aliens are greedy; they also want a euphoria inducing chemical secreted by the brain during orgasm.

Since Margaret, a wanly beautiful decadent with spiky hair, is constantly besieged by seducers of both sexes, she produces a lot of chemicals for the aliens; when her pursuers make love to her, they suddenly dematerialize in an explosion of iridescent color. Margaret soon becomes seduced by her new powers and becomes an avenger, exacting her revenge on her ex-lovers and tormentors.

Hailed by the US press as the most brilliantly original film of the '80s,
- Liquid Sky is dazzling, funny, shocking and disturbing.
