Synopsis: This screen adaptation of Israeli author A.B. Jehoschua's novel tells the story of a friendship that develops between an Israeli forest guard and an Arab whose village was destroyed during an Arab-Israeli conflict.When a fire breaks out and destroys the forest, the Arab is arrested. Although Noah is considered a failure, he feels he has benefited tremendously from the experience of this friendship.
