New From The Film Source: "BOLLYWOOD AND VINE"
Set in modern-day Hollywood, "Bollywood and Vine" is, a contemporary romantic satire of Hollywood films from the 1940s, 50s and 60s. It tells the story an Indian immigrant tour-bus' driver in Hollywood, who gets more than he bargained for, when he writes a comeback vehicle for his screen idol, former B-movie starlet “Delilah Leigh.” "It is a refreshing comedy, done in good taste, which will appeal to today's American audiences, as well as to all the world," said Alex Massis, who signed up "Bollywood and Vine", to be added to The Film Source's line of new North American films, like "Spook" (Canada), and "Duke House" (USA). Veteran Broadway, film and television actress Skye
Aubrey stars in the role of "Delilah Leigh." Ms. Aubrey is best known for
her guest appearances on such classic American TV series as: "Batman,"
"Love, American Style," "Marcus Welby," "Fantasy Island," "Ironside,"
"Green Acres," and many more. She also holds the distinction of starring in
TV's first miniseries, 1971's "Vanished." Once dubbed "television's child"
by "TV Guide," Skye’s father, James T. Aubrey, was CBS and ABC Television
President, as well as President of MGM. Her mother is prolific actress
Phyllis Thaxter.
